Maximizing student success requires a school board that leads with collaboration. Before making major policy decisions, we must look to our stakeholders—from parents and teachers to local leaders—for insight. The board’s duty is to question the administration and ensure that diverse community needs are genuinely balanced. When people know their voices are heard and the process is transparent, policies succeed. I am committed to a culture of openness, inviting community participation as we identify problems, share new initiatives, and measure the impact of our plans.
