From Potential to Performance: Helping Every Student Soar

"I am committed to education and I possess a unique blend of public school experience and ability to solve problems. These qualities will enable me to support the district’s emergence from current tensions and build trust with purposeful transparency."

Student Focus

Every child arrives at school with a unique background, distinct strengths, and individual needs. There is no one-size-fits-all approach to education. I will champion research-backed strategies that prioritize human connection over excessive screen time, ensuring our AAPS students stay deeply engaged, motivated, and supported.

Teacher Support

To support students, we must retain our experienced teachers. Effective teaching requires much more than subject expertise; it demands knowledge about how students learn. To truly deliver for our students, teachers need autonomy and professional respect. A fair contract and a seat at the decision-making table are essential. When we empower educators, we are advocating for the environment every student needs to thrive.

Fiscal Sustainability

Ann Arbor prides itself on educational excellence, but sustaining that standard requires data-driven leadership. I am running for the school board to protect our community’s most vital resources: our students, teachers, and tax dollars. As a responsible steward, I will prioritize long-term financial stability through transparent budgeting that aligns every dollar with student outcomes.
