Meet Carolyn
Carolyn has served Ann Arbor Public Schools as a teacher, coach, principal, and researcher.  She has firsthand understanding of the complexities of district operations.  Her diverse background gives her the unique perspective needed to manage our schools effectively and ensure a successful future for every student.  Now retired, she has the time and energy to devote to the intensive work of an Ann Arbor school board trustee. Her belief in the vital role of public education for our democracy and her pride in the AAPS motivate her to serve our community in this role. As a former district employee and 45-year resident, she is committed to the district and the importance of an effective school board for maintaining district excellence and building community trust.
